When Bindia started pharmacy school in 2011, she began clenching a lot due to the stress. Her dentist put her in a night guard, that she ended up staying in for years. In 2017, two years after graduating, Bindia flew to Michigan where she had jaw surgery to fix her open bite.
She was still clenching, but her open bite was gone. However, a year after surgery, she began to relapse. Her dentist put her back into a night guard, and her open bite came back. He wanted to do a full mouth restoration with crowns, but after research Bindia was hoping to go for a more conservative and cost effective approach. This is when she came to me. Ultimately we did have to do a few crowns, but nowhere near full mouth. We were able to restore her conservatively and give her back her smile!
