
While full of joy, the holiday season can also be stressful. As we are ending 2021 I encourage you to take a few minutes to reflect on the past year and the year to come.
Start off by finding somewhere on the ground to lay down. If it’s nice outside, I recommend finding a soft patch of grass.
Once you are settled, take your attention away from the busyness of the outside world and bring your attention into yourself and your body. As you’re laying, feel for the areas of your body that are tense.
Take some nice, easy breaths. As you exhale, let the areas of your body that are tense melt into the ground beneath you. Release the weight into the ground.
Once you are feeling more relaxed, begin reflecting on the past year.
