If you ever boil vegetables, instead of throwing out the nutrient dense water, consider saving it and using it to feed your plants. All you need is a glass spray bottle. Once the water cools down from being boiled, pour it into the glass spray bottle and give your plants a few sprays in the soil. You can then store the bottle to and continue to fill it up more and more as you cook, giving your plants a good spray every week or so.
You can also freeze the water in ice-cube trays to use for soup and broth making.
